It is advisable to use hot water for ultrasonic cleaners (around 150F). You may need to add a little soap or ammonia to make it work best. Water alone is not sufficient. - It does work, but don't expect it to work like the professional jeweler uses - Big enough to hold eye glasses - Not an eyesore, it actually looks nice.
